Donald Trump needs to go sit his ass down somewhere! Really? You think it's ok to come in and offer 25mil for the building plus 25%? It's NOT about the money son! These people want to put their mosque there and now you're disrespecting them by coming in offering them money. Just like their lawyer said you just want to be in the limelight! I see Matt Barnes beats chicks now! Although I heard he said he was the victim of domestic violence! According to the police reports they both had bruises! A mess. A hot damn mess.

Poor Barack. His approval rating is at an all time low and these damn republicans and tea party lovers are making it hard for his numbers to climb up. He inherited a big damn mess no thanks to Bush! But of course he's getting the blame for it. Like he started the recession. Unfortunately like I've been saying all alone. Barack is probably one term and done. These people DO NOT want to see a black man succeed. I still think he's doing a good job although I think he should have had a quicker response to the BP oil spill.

I'm on a mission to drop 15 pounds. I got a little chunky and I'm not liking it! It's not obvious to people and when I say I want to lose weight people are like why? In all my years I never gained weight in my stomach and I have now gained weight in my stomach. NO, I don't have a BIF(butt in the front) but I just feel chunky. I can't see my abs and it's driving me crazy! I could always see my abs! This shit is serious! I have been exercising my ass off and even went on the wagon. I will drink tomorrow night but not like I've been.

Let me let you in on a little secret! I watch Jersey Shore. The shyt is too funny. The funny thing is when I was in college I went to school with mofo's like this! I guess it just takes me down memory lane....lol!

I read that the father of Jennifer Hudson's nephew is accusing her of being a Free Mason and sacrificing his son for her career! WOW! In the same breath he was promoting his rap album! Ummmm last I knew Free Mason's had to be MEN! That shyt right there is just too stupid for words. If I was JHud I would sacrifice HIS ass.

Did y'all hear about that doctor in California who snuck in her on again off again boyfriend's fireplace. Well she is no more. Her ass got stuck in the chimney and now she's dead! Apparently the dude saw her and he snuck out of the front door. Three days later the housekeeper and her son find her body stuck in the damn fireplace. This was all over Dyck! For real? You're dead because of some dyck! That dude MUST have the don da da dyck! I ain't going out for no one over some D!

Oh yeah still kickin it with the African. He does some things that get on my nerves. I just need to find out if I can tolerate them. I know i'm not perfect and do some quirky weird shit and he puts up with me! Hmm we shall see....

Happy Labor Day!!!!

Happy Labor Day weekend everyone! I'm sad that the summer went by so fast but that's life and I had a great summer! I hope everyone enjoys their long weekend! I'm going to partake in some West Indian festivities this weekend. If it's anything like last year it will be one for the books!

Sidekick or Baby Mama?

I recently read the lastest edition of Haper's Bazarre. In it was an article with Savannah Brinson(the mother of LeBron James's children). There were a few things in the article that I found quite interesting.

One quote she had in the article was "I'm the mother of his children. I am not a baby mama. There's more to me than that." Hmmm really? For all of you that are single moms this is NOT directed toward you. I love marriage and family especially black marriages but when I see articles like this it burns me up. I feel like she's trying to rationalize her position in his life and it pisses me off. I don't think because you have a child you should marry the child's father because sometimes it just doesn't work like that. But to sit there and have two children by this man or any other man and be ok with just being his "sidekick" is not ok. Lebron isn't saying that he's going to ever marry her or that she is the one for me. In this article he states that she is his "sidekick." Arrruuu? Sidekick? Are you serious? The mother of his children is his "sidekick?" The thing that blows my mind is that she is ok with this. This is Lebron's statement "A person like myself needs a great sidekick and a person you can rely on no matter what the circumstances. And she is that, she's got my back and I love her for that." Once again I can't get past the sidekick part.

More and more black women are having children out of wedlock at a rate of nearly 70%. It makes no sense to continue doing this and have no intention on having a legal union. I know marriage IS NOT for everyone and I certainly don't expect women who have had a child from a man to just marry him because. This is focused to the ones who go out and have kids all willy nilly and NEVER having any intention to get married. I think women who do this are selling theirselves short. For those women who think that having a child will get the man to marry them are sadly mistaken too.

One part of the interview Savannah talks about being a role model to young women in her hometown of Akron. I don't get it. You were Lebron's highschool sweetheart who went on to have two children by him and will be paid for the rest of your life. She didn't go to college nor do anything else. I'm not knocking that she isn't nice(my hairdresser does her weaves and says she's the sweetest girl). But what are you showing these young women? To find a baller and have children and never get married and to be their "sidekick". STOP poppin' out babies to a man that doesn't think enough of you to give you a real status....WIFE!

What say you guys? Is being a sidekick better than a baby mama?

I'm Back.....

Ok , so I've been back since last Monday but in typical me fashion I'm just getting around to posting plus I've been spending beaucoup time with the Prince of Zumunda...lmao! Hmm what can I say. Costa Rica was beautiful. My only regret is that I didn't go to the volcano side and stay for two days then come to the ocean. Oh well I guess that means another trip! Yaaay!

The resort was nice and the people were friendly but of course it wouldn't be a trip if some added shit didn't happen. It was my idea to go to Costa and I arranged a lot of the travel with the group reservation manager. How about when I get there they didn't have a reservation for me and it was my damn birthday! I went to lunch and they "found" a room for me. They felt bad and supplied me with chocolate covered strawberries(too bad I don't like chocolate) and a bottle of champagne! The next day they called me and said they were upgrading my room to one with an enclosed patio. Great right? NOT! I spent one night there and I was it it's a little warm in here but I didn't pay any attention. My home girl came on Wednesday and we we're sharing a room. She was so excited that she didn't really notice the temperature. The next day we went zip lining(which was the shit...will post video soon) and I told the front desk to please check on the AC...again(I had already told them once). After we get back we get a call saying the AC was not fixable and we would have to move! WTF? They knew this was going to be my third room so we got the ultimate upgrade! THE ROYAL SERVICE! We had our own private butler, pillow menu,private pool etc. I really didn't utilize the services because most of my other friends were in the section of the hotel we left and they weren't allowed in this section. To me I couldn't leave them out since they came to Costa to celebrate my bday. To tell the truth the Royal Service pool area was wack! LOL!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

As usual i'm late. My birthday was June 28. I gave myself a kick ass rooftop party on Saturday and flew to Costa Rica on Monday. I've been here for a day and it's beautiful and just what I needed. I'm sitting in this beautiful upgraded room they gave me sippin on some champagne and eating strawberries! Ahh they made me feel special!

On another note. The Teacher came to my bday party and FINALLY got it right! He gave me two cards,one handwritten note and a pair of GUCCI sunglasses. I didn't really need the glasses but they're nice as hell! The note was so thoughtful. He basically said how much he loves me but can't express himself! *sigh* The African was there too but I played it off good! LOL! I'm a pimp! Hehehe!

Anyway I hope everyone enjoys their week and has a happy and safe 4th of July! I know I will be drinking,chillin or zip lining thru the rainforest!

Is it time?

Is it time to leave the US for overseas? I've always wanted to live overseas for a year or two but haven't really put in effort into researching the possibilities. My company is headquartered in Germany. When I lived in Houston the company I worked for was based out of India. These last few weeks I'm watching a lot of my friends and coworkers leave for overseas. Could I be next? I mean I'm not opposed. I'm not married I don't have any children and my parents are in pretty good health. At this point in my life I don't even have a significant other. I want out of my job and what a great start it would be in another country! I really need to think and pray on this!

My homeboy left this morning for Dubai. He quit working at my company last year because he said there was more to life than working 18hr days! So, he quit. He chilled, traveled and took a 4 month consulting job in Jamaica. He started to seriously look for a new job about 6 weeks ago and he lands at a company based out of Dubai! He's agreed to stay for a minimum of 18mos. I WILL BE GOING TO VISIT HIM NEXT YEAR! Dubai is on my bucket list! Two of my coworkers moved to Hong Kong. J left our firm because MS was paying him big bucks to go to Hong Kong. He only had to commit for one year! R is leaving Friday for Hong Kong and she stayed with the firm but just took another job! She's my favorite person at work plus she writes my reviews! I've watched her have so much anxiety over the last month about the move and if she's doing the right thing etc. She already lived in London ten years ago but came back when her father passed away! She said she's giving it one year. If she likes it she'll stay if she doesn't she's out and she may change her profession altogether and move back to the states and settle down in LA! My other homeboy A quit working last week. He was passed up for MD and said that made him re-evaluate his life. So, he quit last week and is moving to LA to do something on the business end of fitness(what better place to go). He has NO job,is subletting a place for 60 days and is going to figure out what he wants to do! He has a daughter who just finished her freshman yr at pretty prestigious college. He told me has her tuition covered for the next four years along with plenty of stacked paper. He said if he's not worried he can always go back to what he was doing. Plus he has excellent academic pedigree(US Naval Academy and Harvard Business School). Last but not least a blogger buddy named Arnetta is moving to Japan tomorrow to teach English for a year!

I wish I would've done this earlier in my life but I was too busy traveling and partying! I definitely have to think long and hard if this is something I want to pursue. Or is it that I want out of my job and I'm thinking of anything. I think the international experience would be so fly! What say you? If you had the chance would y'all move overseas?

I haven't blogged in a month! I don't know why. I have plenty of drafts and ideas I just haven't pressed send. I've read other blogs and commented but have neglected my own. I'll be back tomorrow with a full post. I already know the topic!
